Professional Development in the Aviation Industry
Fly Safer. Perform Smarter. Lead the Change
The sky demands more than skill. It demands self-awareness. Understanding how human factors shape every decision, every operation, and every outcome is what separates good aviation professionals from great ones. That is exactly why ALKU-PDC and the Aviation Institute of Management (AIM) have come together to make that transformation happen.

Raising the Standard of Aviation Safety
ALKU-PDC, in collaboration with the Aviation Institute of Management (AIM), is excited to announce the launch of a Certificate Course on Managing Human Factors in the Aviation Industry.
This course is designed for aviation professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of how human performance influences safety outcomes across air transport operations. Participants will explore the critical relationship between human factors and aviation systems safety, gaining practical insight into how these dynamics play out in their day-to-day work.
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the impact of human factors on aviation systems and the broader air transport industry, recognise their own personal limitations and how those limitations affect operational safety, and apply a new, forward-looking paradigm for enhancing safety standards across both current and future aviation environments.
Whether you are on the ground or in the air, this course equips you with the knowledge to contribute meaningfully to a safer, smarter aviation industry.
Enrolment is now open. For more information, contact ALKU-PDC or the Aviation Institute of Management.
